Esmeralda and her friends Harry the Hammerhead and Danny the Angler Fish are Surface 71’s sculptures made out of trash from our ecosystem! In the past, they’ve been to the South Florida Science Center, the Palm Beach County History Museum, and Loggerhead Marina. Right now, they’re at Limestone Creek Elementary School!

Surface 71 is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization run solely by students. We hold beach clean ups every month and have installed water refill stations into eleven local schools.
Our mission is to raise awareness about plastic pollution and keep our cities and oceans cleaner and more beautiful.
